Is there something you feel called to do but are afraid to step out and do it? You’re not alone my friend. I struggled with fear myself and was so afraid to step out in faith. I had made so many mistakes in the past and I felt inadequate to do anything for the Lord. Thank goodness we have the scriptures to show us differently. “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.” 1st Corinthians 1:27-29
Over and over again the Lord shows us through His Word who we are in Him and to not be afraid. To step out. Whether it be Moses raising his rod at the Red Sea, Joshua taking the Israelites into the land of milk and honey, Nehemiah rebuilding the wall, or the disciples leaving their jobs to follow Jesus. It all took a step of faith. When the Lord calls you to do something you can do it. It doesn’t mean it will be easy but it will be possible. He will provide what He guides or show you the way to do it. It is like playing follow the leader. Just take His lead and follow Him. You can accomplish those dreams He has put in your heart and nothing can stop you but you!
